So the Guest of Honor coordinator role I have with Bouchercon 2026 in Calgary is really ramping up, which is great–very cool to be prepping intros, buying gifts, finalizing the VIP dinner and all that, but it does take time from writing! And, my own book is launching on October 13 (like, a week from now!) so I’ve been trying to do promotions for that. Still plugging away at the next book, but I’m catching an hour here and there, which slows the momentum.
