Although I had seven sales this year, only one short story is eligible for the 2012 Aurora Award. Some don’t come out until this year, one is a reprint, and one is a contest winner, and therefore, ineligble. However, “Turning It Off,” (Analog, December, 2011) is eligible. You can read it here, and you can nominate me for the award here. There is a $10 fee to register for nominations, though.

I am really enjoying the work I do for Edge. This novel, in particular, has been a real delight to work on. Two more chapters, a quick re-read of the whole thing, and I think it will be ready to go.
I’ve signed with Five Rivers Chapmanry to put out a short story collection of nine of my past stories from Analog, Asimov’s, OnSpec, Tesseracts and AESF Review, plus three new stores. Very exciting!
“Rent In Space,” a 10,000 word novelette sold to Analog magazine! Stan had only a couple of small changes requested, and asked for a quick turn around so he could get it into his late 2012 lineup. So I made the fixes and sent it back to him the next day, and today he accepted them! Yay!
