So, not a lot of writing this week. But I have all my Christmas gifts bought and wrapped! Well, except for one…
Lovely visit with my sister
Had a great visit with my sister this week–got out of town, into the countryside, saw the horses and dogs and all the work she and her husband have done, had a walk in the snow, a couple of great meals, sewed a skirt and did a painting. What a relaxing week!
Sold Four Paintings!
At Anna’s Art Show, I sold four paintings! A fun day–saw lots of people I know, and had a great time, and it was also profitable! A very classy art show, and a success all around.
Creative Third Option
Ever write a story and see two obvious paths: the hero does this, or s/he does that? Both are telegraphed from the beginning, so neither one comes as much of a surprise at the end. What is wanted is that creative third option: the one that was there all along, but no one saw coming–the inevitable surprise. Gee, those story endings are hard to find. I woke up Sunday morning with a creative third option for a story I am working on…was happy to find it, but not sure it really fits the size of my story. Maybe I need a creative fourth option…
Sold 4 paintings today
So, today, I sold four paintings. Not the big ones, but nevertheless, a good day.
