Updates

Not a lot of writing this week. I spent five days hiking the high alpine with my family, which was very relaxing. But–no writing!

My son wound up in the hospital this week, so not a lot of writing. I did write a piece of flash, and did some organizing around the book on courage (contacted a consignment vendor in Nashville for Bouchercon; new business cards; some social media), but that’s about all.

To save the failing Moon colonies from starvation, Janlin joins a jumpship mission to an alien planet. This novel is a great romp through space with terrors on every side.

Finished the edits for the biography and went over photographs for inclusion, selecting the ones I think we’ll use and writing captions/photo credits for all of them. Now I just need to run it past the subject to finalize. On to Book 4 of my Addicted series this week!

When tourists bring John to a supposedly Utopian world, he cannot understand their lack of basic morality. This classic is a must-read, if only to understand modern cultural references. It describes a world that in many ways reflects our own, taken to appalling extremes. As a novel, however, its opening promise is dispersed by a wandering plot.
