“Finished” the bio I was working on and sent it to my beta readers. Of course, then I got more details. But I can add them at the revision stage.

Picked up a new editing client.

My grant final report is due at the end of the month, but I think I can have it done this week. Lots of stuff moving forward!

Fantasy 3-/5

Makeda, trying to live on her own without her twin, no longer has magic—which she needs, if she is to rescue her demigod father. This one is pretty surreal, and I found its style to be a barrier between me and the story, so I had a hard time getting into it.

Got most of the way through my novel revisions, then had to switch to a biography I’m writing because I have a deadline.

Thriller 5/5

Rachel believes she’s knows who has murdered a women she’s seen from her seat on the daily commute train, but no one will believe her because she’s an alcoholic. Tense and twisty, this book made me understand and root for Rachel as she seemed increasingly to be surrounded by those she could not trust.

Had excellent critique from a number of sources, including my paid editor and spent the week working on The Shadow Spy’s Daughter. Good progress!
