I’m editing a fantasy novel for a client whose second language is English. I already did the structural edit and the changes he’s made from the original are magical. It’s a great story, well-constructed, and it has some beautiful turns of phrase, and I’m enjoying the work.
Deadlines!
Finished a client’s edit–great book. Really enjoyed the work. However, with too many deadlines, it was good to put a tick box beside it in my list!

A Slow Week
Went skiing for 3 days! Also I did do some editing for a client and finished my awards jury work. We were able to choose a winner and two more to make a short list. A very satisfying process.
