So last week’s writing retreat was awesome, and I got a ton done on my novel, bu this week I had to catch up with all my editing clients. So–all the balls are still in the air!
Also, I taught Backstory Secrets, a one-day workshop, today. Great class–ten students (online) all willing to share their writing, as questions, and contribute their background knowledge. Made for a wonderful learning environment.
Right. Just got back from the Rainforest Writers’ Village, a 5-day retreat, and got 18,000 words done on the WIP!
Yes, back to working with editing clients. Got a bit of work on my novel done, but not much. Next week, though! Will be at the Rainforest writers retreat, so I hope to get more done on the WIP!
I’m up to 14k on my novel, Gathering of Ghosts, revised my short story and sent it to 3 sensitivity readers, and attended the Writers Guild of Alberta retreat (virtually) this weekend, which included a critique on scene 1 of a new novel.
Got a good start on the novel (book 3 of the series). I’m up to 13 000 words. Still working with a couple of long term editing clients. I plan to do a private (ie, just me) writing retreat for 5 days in early March, so will set aside everything but the novel for that period.
