Temperance Brennan, an American forensic anthropologist in Montreal, realizes the grizzly corpses she must investigate point to a serial killer, who will strike again—soon. Full of detailed forensics and police procedure, as well as centered on a compelling character, this book was a mesmerizing thriller.
