Spent the weekend at Can*Con in Ottawa. It was so refreshing to see so many people I know from all across the country, after this last 3-year drought. Can*Con is a really well-organized convention, very professional, and not too big–maybe 400 people this year.
Continued on the book about courage. The class I’m teaching is going really well. Thursday I leave for Can*Con in Ottawa–my first in-person convention in a year!
Worked on the nonfiction book on courage this week. My first class went well on Tuesday!
This week I interviewed a doctor who worked with Doctors Without Borders, for a nonfiction book I am working on. Also, I will be teaching an 8-week course on character for my local community college, starting tomorrow, so I’ve been prepping for that course.
This week I finished the manuscript review I was working on. Next week I think I’ll start noodling on a new novel, or maybe a short story.
