I has been an interesting experience. And after 3 days, I’m thinking – there is a lot of reading for a small amount of information. Still, I’m still learning!
I just found out yesterday, I sold “Orange” to AE Science Fiction Review, a new, Canadian professional market. What a thrill!
It is official: I am now a fiction editor for Edge Press, Canada’s largest Science Fiction and Fantasy publisher. I am very excited!
Of course, I wanted to re-read the whole novel one more time just to be sure the whole thing flowed and was the best it could possibly be, but that’s done and it is submitted. I think I will take the month of November to focus on short fiction, which I have been seriously neglecting. As we speak, I only have 2 stories in the mail, but 2 brand-new fresh ones I want to send out, and a couple of others I think could be ready with a bit of polishing.
