Tips From My Writers’ Group
So on Tuesday, my writers’ group, SAW, gave me some tips on agents, and two members of my group offered to lend me books by an agent I would like to send my novel to — so I can get a sense if she would be interested in something similar to my work. Thanks, guys!

Thanks for the Helpful Critique!
My Kensington Writers Group critted my novel Monday and now my head is buzzing with ideas. Lots of positives, which is always gratifying, and the one area where most felt the book needed a lift is very workable. My critters gave me good suggestions and I have been mulling them over for a week — I just transcribed 23 messages I left for myself on my voice recorder outlining how I think I can accomplish what needs to be done. And, I have a long weekend to get started!
Looking Forward to Monday
My Kensington Writers’ Group will be critiquing the novel I finished last month, so that will be a great help. This weekend I began chapter two of another book in the series. Going well!

Don’t You Just Love Saturdays?
I woke up after eight delicious hours of sleep and the whole backstory to my book appeared in my head. I’ve just written it down. Today I have the whole day to write; tomorrow I go hiking. I should have my submission for the workshop finished today.
Rob’s reading last Tuesday was wonderful, as always — I love to hear him speak. About 12 of us went out afterward and it was great fun.
