Had a great retreat–got the bones of Book 7 plotted–I’m very happy with this initial plot. Of course, things do change in the writing.
Writers’ Retreat!
I finished both editing projects (as much as I can do for now) and I head out tomorrow on a short (2-day) writers’ retreat, which I find is always a great time to plot, because with no distractions (like laundry or dishes) I can keep all the plot balls in the air as I craft.
I’ll be plotting book 7 of my series (the final book). I’m waiting on the publisher for edits for Book 3 and I don’t want to do the edits for Book 4 (which the publisher already gave me) until I have Book 3 nailed; and books 5 & 6 are mostly drafted.
More editing projects–and a crime interview!
Worked on two current editing projects. One is about 75% done and I’ll finish this week; the other was tiny–almost finished, from my end. I’m also co-authoring a book on courage with a homicide detective and this week we interviewed a member of our city’s TAC team and a woman who left the sex trade. Super interesting work.
More June Editing!
Finished the work for the current editing client (this round–there will be more), and this week I can start with my next editing client!
June Editing
Spent the last week editing for a client. Have another client in the queue for June, so not likely to be doing my own thing for a while.
